Emerald Analytical Services,
Inc. was founded in 1991 in Montreal, Quebec.
In 1992, the company was formed under the Canada Business Corporations Act. In
June 2000, the company changed its name to E.N.R. Asset Management
(ENR), Inc. in order to better reflect its business objectives,
which are principally investment management and international portfolio
consulting.
E.N.R.'s founder, Eric Naimer
Roseman, is the President. ENR is a privately-owned Canadian company engaged in
discretionary asset management, mutual fund partnerships and newsletter
advisory services. Mr. Roseman's portfolio research assistant, Dugald Malcolm, joined ENR in November 2005.
E.N.R. Asset Management, Inc. specializes in customizing multi-manager mutual
fund and equity portfolios for private banks, institutions and high net-worth
investors by blending alternative and traditional investment strategies with low
correlations to traditional asset classes. The investment strategy largely
embraces value or contrarian investing.
ENR specializes in
constructing and managing global investment portfolios for international
investors with private banking relationships in Europe
and brokerage relationships in the United States. Portfolios are available in either U.S. dollars or
Euro in Europe and U.S. dollars in the United States. Portfolios are heavily diversified across several
asset classes, employing a long/short and value-based investment philosophy.
The ability to protect capital through diversified asset allocation strategies
and the flexibility to sell short proved invaluable from 2000 to 2002.
In 1991, ENR began managing
client assets for high net-worth investors, family members and small
institutions in the United StatesEurope. In September 2005, ENR successfully registered as an
Investment Advisor with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission
(SEC). and
The benchmark ENR Bullet
(Diversified Trading Program) has never suffered a calendar year loss
since 1991.
From 2000 to 2002, the ENR
Bullet Diversified Trading Program earned a cumulative 23.6% total return
versus -42% for the S&P 500 Index, and -52.9% for the MSCI World Index. The
last bear market from 2000 to 2002 was the worst three-year calendar period for
global equities since 1929 to 1931. During this challenging period for
investors, the ENR portfolio protected capital and posted net profits.
Prospective investors can
select among taxable and tax-deferred accounts in the United States and Europe. Through its association with Swiss-based NMG
International Financial Services Limited, Mr. Roseman also offers
tax-deferred versions of the ENR Bullet Portfolio Funds in Liechtenstein, structured as offshore variable annuities.
Eric N. Roseman, in addition
to asset management services, also offers several weekly and monthly investment
packages to global investors through The Sovereign Society, including Commodity
Trend Alert, which has over 1,000 members since 2001. Other membership
services include a monthly investment bulletin on fine wine investing and
alternative investment strategies for high net-worth investors.
Mr. Roseman is a regular
speaker at investment conferences in the United States, Canada, Asia and in Europe. He is also the Investment Director of the Sovereign
Society, a membership-only organization offering a wide range of international
